About Me
From childhood, Emma was always chasing good stories, whether that meant tromping through Sherwood Forest with a trusty wooden bow and suction-cup arrow (surprisingly effective!) or searching for secret doors to Narnia. Stories also made her feel less alone at times, and she hopes to do the same for others.
Her passion for travel has taken her from husky sledding in Lapland, galloping horses across beaches in France to exploring Calgary, Sydney, and Tuscany.
Emma holds a BA (hons) in English and a certificate in Primary Education. She has a soft spot for characters who show courage and kindness, and dreams of writing stories that offer readers hope, a smile, and the strength to be brave.
Her perfect day? A hike or horse ride with her family, followed by quiet reading or writing time (preferably with invisible snack fairies—who have yet to show up). Until then, she sneaks off to find a quiet place to read or write whenever she can—though with five kids, “quiet” is a relative term.
